Design is never done

Design, like innovation, is an ongoing process. There is no point at which we can say we are completely finished and no further design changes are required. If that were the case, Facebook would not have been sending updates every three days at the age of 26.

People’s product preferences (web, app, Internet activity) change over time, and iteration occurs at this point. And it is this constant iteration while listening to people that makes a product successful, and UX designers are the moderators in this process. If you have a product that has been released, pay attention to what people are saying about it on the app and play stores, visit social platforms, conduct in-person interviews, conduct surveys, use analytics, and gather insights.

Data is not subjective; it is fact, and facts can help us perform the necessary iterations. Based on my previous experience, you can create the most beautiful website or app in the world (which we heavily focused on for aesthetic reasons only), but it will be useless if it is not useful to people. It is through innovation and iteration that products become useful.

So, let us just keep striving for better solutions while accepting the flaws in our designs. You will never be able to achieve 100% accuracy. Congratulations if you are an excellent problem solver and an average visual designer (that’s okay; you’ll get better with practice). You’re on your way to becoming an excellent UX designer.
